iQuestions Faculty, John D. Beckett
Question:
Is there a personal reward for living out your faith at work?
Answer:
You know, sometimes I’m asked if there is a personal reward for living
out your faith at work.
We’ve been tremendously successful as a company. We’ve hired
thousands of employees. We’ve served customers all over the world.
We’ve built successful businesses, several of them.
But, I would say that the thing that I find most rewarding is that we’ve
been able to have a stable and wonderful family, we’ve been able have
tight-knit relationships among our employees. We’ve been able to
have a real sense of purpose in what we’ve done, so that we can look
at the fruits of our efforts and say, “That was a deeply rewarding
experience.”
